Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage enterprise infrastructure operations for our banking technology environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in infrastructure architecture, vendor management, and team leadership, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure operations, including data centers, cloud platforms, networks, servers, and storage.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions aligned with banking industry standards.
- Oversee infrastructure for core banking applications, digital banking platforms, and payment systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and SLA adherence.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality and compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards relevant to the banking domain (RBI, ISO, etc.).
- Collaborate with application, security, and business teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement automation and best practices for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and hybrid environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of data center operations, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in network architecture, security, and enterprise storage solutions.
- Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large technical teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in banking environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as ITIL, AWS/Azure Architect, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
- Experience in handling large-scale digital transformation projects.
