Informatica L2 Support Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Informatica L2 Support Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced support for Informatica applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability, and collaborating with various teams to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Informatica applications and ensure high availability of the systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Collaborate with L1 support and development teams to facilitate smooth operations and system enhancements.
• Monitor and optimize Informatica workflows and performance metrics.
• Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call support rotation as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter and related ETL tools.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting and commands.
• Familiarity with Informatica Administration and configuration.
• Ability to analyze performance issues and optimize ETL processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
