Good to have skills: SQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Data Warehousing Concepts, Performance Tuning, ETL Monitoring & Scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica and Informatica PowerCenter for enterprise data integration needs.
• Analyze source-to-target mappings and implement transformations to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely data loads.
• Build and optimize mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows; tune performance for high-volume data processing.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, restartability, and monitoring to improve operational reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data teams, and application owners to gather requirements and clarify data rules.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT cycles, and resolve defects with strong root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation including ETL design specs, workflow details, and operational runbooks.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure adherence to release and change management processes. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building ETL solutions using Informatica.
• Strong working experience with Informatica PowerCenter development (mappings, workflows, sessions).
• Ability to interpret data requirements and translate them into implementable ETL designs.
• Experience in testing, debugging, and supporting ETL processes in development and production environmen Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ETL performance tuning, including optimizing transformations, session properties, and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with data quality checks, reconciliation techniques, and ensuring end-to-end data validation.
• Exposure to scheduling/monitoring practices and operational support for batch ETL pipelines.
• Strong documentation practices and ability to communicate technical details clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement of ETL standards.
