Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain integration solutions using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) .
Develop complex integration processes using Process Designer and reusable integration components.
Build integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services/APIs .
Configure API connections, authentication, mappings, transformations, and error-handling mechanisms.
Work with business and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop reusable connectors, processes, and integration frameworks where applicable.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, SIT, and support UAT activities.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, performance problems, and production incidents.
Monitor integration jobs and proactively identify and resolve failures.
Implement logging, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and error recovery.
Support deployment of integration solutions across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and support documentation.
Participate in code reviews and follow integration development standards and best practices.
Collaborate with application, database, cloud, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end integration delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior integration developers.

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration
Process Designer
REST API and SOAP Web Services
API integration and web-service development
Integration patterns and architecture
Data mapping and transformation
Error handling, exception management, and logging
Integration troubleshooting and production support
Experience with JSON and XML
Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, API authentication, OAuth , and web-service concepts
Experience with enterprise application integrations
Strong SQL/database knowledge
Experience with IICS security, connections, and deployment
Good understanding of integration testing and release/deployment processes

Good to Have

Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
Experience with Informatica Application Integration Connectors
Knowledge of Informatica API Manager
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with messaging/event-based integration
Knowledge of CI/CD and Git
Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Oracle, or other enterprise applications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Experience & Qualifications

5–8 years of overall IT/integration development experience.
Strong hands-on experience specifically in Informatica Cloud Application Integration / IICS .
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade integrations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
