About The Opportunity
A leading player in the Enterprise Data Management and Data Warehousing sector, delivering large-scale ETL and data integration solutions for clients across BFSI, Retail, and Telecom. The team implements robust, secure pipelines and migrations that feed analytics, reporting, and operational systems using modern Informatica stacks and cloud data platforms. This is an on-site role based in India with strong client-facing delivery expectations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IICS).
- Build and optimize SQL/PL-SQL routines and source-to-target transforms across Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata environments.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform ETL performance tuning, and implement efficient memory and session-level optimizations.
- Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and pipeline designs.
- Author technical design documents, ETL test plans, and support data migration and cutover activities; follow CI/CD and release management processes.
- Provide on-site client support for deployments and incident resolution and mentor junior ETL developers to raise delivery quality.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IICS).
- Strong ETL design and implementation skills for enterprise data warehousing projects.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development and query performance tuning.
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting for ETL automation and job scheduling.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database or equivalent relational DBMS in production environments.
- Willingness to work on-site in India and engage directly with client teams.
Preferred
- Experience with data migration, data quality frameworks, or Informatica MDM.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse) or big data technologies (Apache Hadoop/Spark).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for ETL deployments (Jenkins, Git-based workflows).
