We are hiring on-site in India for a hands-on Informatica engineering role supporting large-scale data pipelines, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
Primary Title: Informatica PowerCenter Developer
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to support data warehouse and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements and source systems into accurate source-to-target mappings and technical ETL specifications.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance using partitioning, pushdown optimization, indexing strategies, and session tuning to meet SLA targets.
- Manage repository objects, implement version control and promote mappings across development, QA, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and document solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, QA, and BI teams to validate data quality, support unit/integration testing, and enable CI/CD for ETL deliveries.
