Influencer Marketing Intern
Role Overview
We are looking for an Influencer Marketing Intern who is passionate about the creator economy, digital culture, and brand-building through authentic storytelling. You will work closely with the marketing and brand teams to identify, engage, and manage influencer partnerships that drive awareness and engagement for AppsForBharat's products - including Sri Mandir and Kundli.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the influencer landscape, enjoys negotiating and building relationships with creators, and can manage end-to-end content execution - from briefing to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer Sourcing & Research
- Identify and shortlist relevant influencers across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms aligned with brand categories (devotional, astrology, spirituality, lifestyle)
- Build and maintain a structured influencer database with key metrics - follower count, engagement rate, audience demographics, and niche relevance
- Research competitor campaigns and industry trends to identify high-potential creator profiles
- Evaluate influencer authenticity by analysing audience quality, fake follower indicators, and past brand collaborations
- Stay updated on emerging creators, micro-influencer communities, and regional content trends
2. Outreach, Negotiation & Deal Management
- Lead outreach to influencers and talent managers via DMs, email, and WhatsApp
- Negotiate deliverables, timelines, exclusivity clauses, and pricing to ensure the best value for the brand
- Draft and manage influencer agreements, rate cards, and campaign terms
- Maintain a deal tracker to log outreach status, negotiation stages, costs, and signed agreements
- Build long-term relationships with high-performing creators for repeat collaborations
3. Content Brief Development & Execution
- Create clear, detailed content briefs covering campaign objectives, messaging guidelines, dos and don'ts, hashtags, and CTAs
- Coordinate with influencers to ensure content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and campaign goals
- Manage content review and approval workflows - collect drafts, share feedback, and ensure timely go-lives
- Track content delivery timelines and follow up proactively with creators to avoid delays
- Collaborate with internal creative and brand teams to align influencer content with broader campaigns
4. Video Production Coordination
- Support end-to-end execution of influencer video deliverables - scripted reels, product integrations, testimonials, and live sessions
- Brief creators on video formats, hooks, pacing, and platform-native storytelling styles
- Review video drafts for brand compliance and suggest revisions where needed
- Coordinate with editors and creative teams for any post-production support required
- Ensure final videos meet platform specifications before publishing
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track campaign performance metrics - reach, views, engagement rate, saves, shares, and link clicks
- Compile weekly and monthly influencer performance reports with insights and recommendations
- Identify top-performing creators, content formats, and hooks for future campaign planning
- Use data to optimise influencer mix, content strategy, and budget allocation
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest in influencer marketing, social media, and the creator economy
- Understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and short-form content formats (Reels, Shorts)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - comfortable in direct outreach and deal conversations
- Ability to write structured content briefs and campaign guidelines
- Basic understanding of social media metrics - engagement rate, CPV, CPM, reach vs impressions
- Organised and detail-oriented - capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with strong follow-through
- Interest in spirituality, devotional content, or astrology-focused audiences is a plus
Bonus Points If You
- Have prior experience managing influencer campaigns or creator partnerships
- Have a personal content page, creator account, or experience collaborating with influencers
- Are familiar with influencer marketing tools
- Have experience drafting contracts, rate negotiation, or working with talent managers
- Understand the devotional, spiritual, or regional content creator landscape in India
- Are fluent in Hindi or a regional language - a strong advantage for regional influencer outreach
