Havells Centre For Research & Innovation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Designer/Product Designer with a strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of the design process to join our dynamic team and help in delivering striking and innovative products to the market.

Qualification- B.Des/ M.Des (from tier 1 and tier 2 design institutes)
Experience- 1 to 3 Years
DUTIES:
- Working with a diverse team of designers and engineers to create stunning and unique designs
- Performing in depth design research of users and the ability to drive meaningful and thoughtful insights from the data to feed into your designs.
- Taking ownership of work and supervising projects till the last mile to ensure design fidelity
- Contributing to the overall development of a strong and unified visual brand language for the company.
- Participating in brain storming session of various verticals and leveraging of knowledge and experience from one's own work to provide valuable contributions.
- Creating aspirational forms and ensuring attention to detail.
- Strong design presentation and story-telling skills to drive design decision.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a similar field is required.
- Experience: 1-3 years
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to deliver creative and successful product design, versatility with design and rapid prototyping tools and methods, and a strong understanding of design and creative process.
- Consumer-centric design process background with proven ability to deliver design for product families that align with brand vision.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software and ability to work in surfacing. Rhino / Solidworks / Creo preferred
- Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Advanced model shop / model making skills.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management.
- Aptitude for solving design and engineering problems.
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes and materials.
