About Us

Join BoAt's fast-paced New Product Introduction (NPI) team, where industrial design defines the next generation of consumer electronics. We are looking for a creative Industrial Designer to shape the visual and functional identity of our productsfrom initial concept to physical realityensuring we stay at the forefront of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Concept Development: Ideate breakthrough design concepts through 2D sketching, storyboarding, and detailed 3D modeling to communicate design intent.
  • Design Execution: Deliver high-quality industrial design outputs using tools like Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Alias, ensuring brand aesthetics and user needs are met.
  • CMF & Innovation: Drive the integration of cutting-edge colors, materials, and finishes (CMF). Work with suppliers to explore the feasibility of new manufacturing techniques.
  • Market & Trend Research: Conduct benchmarking and trend forecasting to identify white space opportunities. Study global aesthetics and competitor designs to keep the portfolio forward-looking.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Mechanical Engineers, Product Managers, and R&D to ensure design integrity is preserved throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ergonomics & Usability: Apply a deep understanding of human factors and ergonomics to enhance product interaction and comfort.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual language and design system across the entire consumer electronics portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a closely related field (preferably from institutes like NID, NIFT, MIT-ID, or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 2+ years of professional experience as an Industrial Designer, specifically within web-led or consumer-facing product environments.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Rhino/Fusion 360) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Core Competencies: Strong visual storytelling, CMF expertise, and a customer-first mindset regarding ergonomics and usability.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in designing consumer electronics, wearables, or home appliances.
