  • Position Summary:

The Indirect Capex Buyer independently manages endtoend sourcing for CapEx categories, leading supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution. Alongside individual buying responsibilities, the role owns centralized Indirect Procurement processesdriving standardization, governance, and crossfunctional alignment. The position ensures effective support for minor as well as major CapEx projects while maintaining strong operational procurement performance across the organization.

  • Key Job Areas of Responsibilities

2.1. Category management/ KPI delivery/ Stakeholder management/ Category strategy Manages global indirect CapEx categories with multimillion USD annual spend, delivering KPIs, productivity, and costsaving targets. Develops and executes global/local sourcing strategies, leading major tenders and projectbased sourcing events. Drives category optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Builds strong stakeholder and supplier relationships and provides expert advisory support based on deep knowledge of CapEx markets, negotiation tactics, and vendors.

2.2. Project management and Source to Contract (Commodity part) Acts as a key contributor in global, regional, and local CapEx sourcing projects, creating and managing detailed project timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and escalating issues when necessary to secure ontime execution. Monitors project budgets, leads recurring project meetings, and reports progress to senior leadership across and outside the Indirect Procurement function. Ensures complete and highquality delivery of all Indirect Procurement activities through each project phase.From a category perspective, focuses on strategic sourcing, CapEx productivity delivery, and adherence to all internal procurement rules and processes. Applies deep knowledge of CapEx sourcing steps and technical commodity specifics, serving as a bestpractice example for junior buyers in the Indirect Procurement organization. Manages CapEx sourcing events as well as local projects, with strong prioritization skills. Manages supplier communication and negotiations, runs eauctions, and presents results in Indirect Sourcing Governance forums. Conducts supplier risk checks in collaboration with the corporate risk team. Works closely with the legal department on contract drafts and deviations. Fulfills assigned tasks from the Reporting Manager, operating with a high level of independence.

2.3. Operations - Procure to Pay Oversees the full P2P (ProcuretoPay) workflow for assigned CapEx categories, ensuring accurate purchase order creation and smooth invoice settlement within internal procurement systems (Coupa, SAP). Flags and escalates any irregularities in the P2P cycle and proactively guides stakeholders to adhere to established procurement and compliance standards. Maintains and updates vendor records in Coupa, while ensuring all sourcing activities align with compliant bidding requirements for reporting to Organization common goals.Works closely with Accounts Payable to resolve overdue invoices by facilitating communication between suppliers, AP teams, and internal requestersidentifying process gaps and driving sustainable corrective actions. Assists other functions during audits, system rollouts, and vendor classification updates, ensuring smooth crossfunctional collaboration.

  • Education / Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or above (Engineering Background, Economics, International trade, or equivalent degree )

  • Experience

Major Experience in Strategic Capex Sourcing. Min. 3 to 4 years experience in procurement (Preferable from Indirect background)

  • Key Skills and Knowledge

Fluent in english, Microsoft Office, e-auction and SAP skills together with ability to adapt quickly to other procurement systems (Coupa is a plus).Acts with sense of urgency and focuses on results. Strong personality with ability to drive stakeholders, not to be driven by them. Good negotiator and communicator. Strong common sense and keen to learn new things. Responsible, reliable, flexible. Loyal and helpfull to the team. Demonstrates the ability to think strategically and critically analyze details. Multitasking and time management skills. Extensive knowledge of procurement/sourcing preferably in relevant spend categories (automotive is a +) Good organizational skills - ability to prioritize and do problem solving, Project management and presentation skills.Very good English -min. B2 level, Microsoft Office and SAP skills together with ability to adapt quickly to other procurement systems (Oracle/ Coupa is a +) Self-motivated and capable to work with tight deadlines.
