Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Indian Office - Hedge Fund Managed Services Consultant - Enfusion Specialist based in Mumbai. The consultant will focus on providing expert middle/back-office managed services, with a specialization in Enfusion system operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing operational processes, assisting with accounting workflows, supporting administrative systems, and coordinating customer service processes to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction. The role will require collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet the specific requirements of hedge fund clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

General

  • Prior experience working forafundadministratorlike Citco, MSFS, HedgeServ,State Street,NAV Consulting, SS&CGlobeOporin ahedge fund operations role
  • Previous experience at a consulting firm, fund administratoror extensive experience working in a project orientated work environment
  • Strong business analyst skill set including process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis/reporting, process flow diagramming, and writing (business requirements documentation, design documents)
  • Exposure to business concepts such as scenario analysis, budgeting, business development, vertical integration, returns on investments, and negotiation
  • Project management experience, including defining and controlling complex project scope, timelines, issues/risks, and managing technical resources
  • Advanced exposure to Office productivity suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint) and experience creating executive presentations, industry white papers, and financial/operating models
  • Project management using MS Project or similar applications
  • Knowledge of core data concepts using SQL, data analysis in Excel, and presentation software

Middle Office

  • Daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash against Prime Brokers, FCMs, ISDA Counterparties, and Custodians
  • Proactive break resolution and communication for reconciliation breaks
  • Responding to break resolution emails from 3rd parties
  • Processing of corporate action events
  • Processing of position lifecycle events

BackOffice

  • Position, P&L, and Cash Reconciliationsagainst Fund Administrators
  • Trial Balance Reconciliations against Fund Administrators
  • Booking and maintenance of non-trading accrual and expense schedules
  • Break resolution and Fund Admin communication for reconciliation issues
  • Ensure the smooth, effective operation of the department including:
  • Successfulon boarding of new managed services clients
  • Compliance to all accounting and operational procedures
  • Proper daily product and service delivery
  • Escalation and resolution of high exposure items
  • Maintaining client satisfaction
  • Assist with improving and automating existing processes to mitigate risk and increase scalability

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and interactions with team members and clients
  • Experience with Administrative Assistance and Office Administration, including managing workflows and organizational tasks
  • Proficiency in Customer Service and the ability to effectively handle client requirements and inquiries
  • Knowledge of Accounting processes relevant to middle/back-office operations within financial services
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and task management
  • Familiarity with Enfusion software is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable
