This position is for our Indian Office in Mumbai. We are only accepting applications from Indian residents.

This position requires individual to work hybrid hours - especially during month-end period close when the individual will be expected to work EST hours.

Responsibilities - This position reports to Chief Financial Officer

Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and safeguard assets

Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors

Lead the monthly close process and ensure all reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and timely

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and healthcare regulatory requirements

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A

Identify and implement process improvements, systems upgrades, and automation opportunities

Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team

Manage Lease Accounting

Manage Stock Comp Accounting

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role

Prior experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., provider, diagnostics, multisite, managed care) preferred, but not required

Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare billing and revenue cycle principles

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct)

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
