Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Indian Chef, located in Pune. The Indian Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring that recipes are followed precisely, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Day-to-day tasks will include managing kitchen operations, ordering supplies, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to create new and exciting menu items that reflect the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and cooking Indian cuisine, especially thali meals
- Strong understanding of vegetarian cooking and various Indian spices and ingredients
- Experience in kitchen management and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and manage inventory
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
