THE POSITION: India Marketing Specialist

ORGANIZATION: Marketing

JOB SUMMARY

The India Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and manage all local marketing activities in India.

This role is responsible for developing and delivering marketing initiatives that support the sales organization by generating qualified leads, acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

The position requires a strong understanding of the local ecosystem, including channel and field priorities, to define and execute effective local marketing plans. The role also involves close collaboration with sales teams, channel partners, and the global marketing communications team to deliver integrated campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support annual marketing planning and budget allocation, including co-marketing plans with channel partners
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure effective resource planning
  • Develop and execute local marketing activities aligned with corporate guidelines and sales objectives
  • Generate qualified leads through targeted marketing campaigns
  • Monitor, manage, and evaluate campaign performance using CRM systems
  • Organize trade shows, events, and represent the company on-site
  • Develop and implement media and press strategies, including social media activities
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams, channel partners, and global marketing teams
  • Ensure compliance with corporate marketing and communication strategies
  • Track campaign ROI and ensure alignment with budget expectations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

Languages

  • Native-level proficiency in an Indian language
  • English: Minimum B2 level

Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in high-tech products/services
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and channel partners
