Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Consulting:

Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive

landscapes affecting the Indian Oil and Gas clients

Leverage the understanding of upstream, midstream and downstream operations to

develop practical strategies addressing key business challenges for clients in the Indian

energy sector.

Provide business/digital transformation services for Oil & Gas clients across its core

functions of production operations, supply chain, marketing, sales and enterprise

functions like finance, procurement, Information Technology etc.

Lead and contribute to client engagements in the energy sector, providing strategic

insights and solutions in the areas of digital transformation, operational excellence, cost

reduction, sales transformation, business process optimization etc.

Project Stewardship:

Lead and manage consulting projects in energy sector across the value chain, ensuring

the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Provide guidance to project teams comprising a mix of techno-functional skills in

producing project deliverables, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Opportunity Curation:

Contribute to the development of proposals for some of the most challenging client

problem in energy sector.

Collaborate with the larger teams within Accenture and our ecosystem partners to anchor

client presentations and business development efforts in energy sector.

Thought Leadership:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and geopolitical factors impacting

the energy sector and translate them.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

Rich consulting experience in energy industry with focus on areas of upstream, midstream and

downstream operations

Knowledge of digital technology trends in the energy industry

Experience of at least 7 years with at least 3 years of management consulting in relevant industry

like energy, utilities, chemicals and natural resources with leading consulting firms; domestic

consulting experience preferred

Experience of leading cross functional teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience of working with C-level executives at the client organization

Educational qualifications

Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or post graduate degree in management

(PGDM) from premier institutes preferred
