About The Team

You'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the core operating system, contributing directly to a product with massive customer reach and impact.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and Port highly optimized middleware frameworks over Linux OS for a wide range of smart TV use cases
- Sustenance engineering of existing Linux based OS frameworks, Improvements, bug-fixes
- Collaborate with engineers at the UI, Middleware, and Hardware/Device layer
- Integrate and optimize TV features ensuring high quality and performance on our next generation platforms
What You'll bring
- 8+ years of experience with C/C++ and Linux/Unix development
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering or CS equivalent
- Programming: C, C++ 17/20, Clang toolchain, cmake, Python
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly document designs and communicate design methodology with other team members
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Competencies
- Experience with TV industry standards and protocols
- Knowledge of modern C++ based design patterns.
- Experience in developing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test cases for Linux-based systems in Python or other scripting languages.
- Proficiency in utilizing Google Test for C++ codebase testing.
- Experience with Agile, JIRA, Jenkins, and Version Control tools (git).
