Incident Response Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more accurate AI systems for cybersecurity. As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll apply your hands-on security operations experience to evaluate and improve AI models designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations.

Your expertise doesn't just stay in the SOC — it directly shapes how AI understands and responds to real-world security events.

What You'll Do

  • Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for real-world validity
  • Identify gaps where AI analysis diverges from how experienced response teams actually operate
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
  • Work independently and asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
  • Solid working knowledge of SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
  • Skilled at triaging signal from noise and identifying meaningful threats quickly
  • Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or red/blue team operations
  • Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST IR
  • Prior exposure to AI evaluation or data annotation workflows

  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule from anywhere
