Description
We are seeking an experienced Incident Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT service management with a strong focus on incident management processes. This role involves monitoring incidents, coordinating resolution efforts, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incidents and service requests throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Communicate incident status to stakeholders and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and present incident reports and performance metrics to management.
- Develop and maintain incident management processes and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in IT service management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework, particularly Incident Management processes.
- Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or relevant areas are preferred.
