Job Description

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end incident management processes across IT systems and services.
  • Ensure incidents are identified, logged, prioritized, and resolved within defined timelines.
  • Drive root cause identification and preventive actions to reduce incident recurrence.
  • Monitor incident trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide structured updates to leadership on incident status and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Management & Control

  • Oversee incident management protocols and guide teams on execution.
  • Classify incidents based on impact and urgency.
  • Ensure accurate logging and tracking of all incidents.

Root Cause Analysis & Prevention

  • Perform detailed root cause analysis for major incidents.
  • Identify corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Review recurring incidents and recommend process improvements.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Analyze incident trends and system behavior.
  • Prepare reports on incident metrics and resolution effectiveness.
  • Escalate critical incidents as per defined processes.

Stakeholder & Leadership Updates

  • Provide regular status updates on ongoing incidents to senior management.
  • Ensure transparency and adherence to incident escalation procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Prior experience working in an incident management role.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes, IT infrastructure, and IT operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
