Position Title: Inbound Tour Operations Executive

Department: Operations

Reporting to: Manager/ Director Operations

Location: On-site at DLF Corporate Greens, Sector 74, Gurgaon, India

Main Job Function

The Inbound Tour Operations Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of inbound travel operations from itinerary planning and supplier coordination to client servicing and quality control. The role demands excellent organizational skills, destination knowledge, and some understanding of responsible travel principles.

Key Responsibilities

Tour Planning & Operations

Design and prepare customized itineraries and quotations for FITs and small groups.

Coordinate with hotels, transporters, guides, and other service providers.

Ensure smooth communication and execution of all tour arrangements.

Oversee pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Monitor service quality and handle client feedback efficiently.

Communication & Coordination

Serve as the primary contact for international tour operators and clients.

Liaise internally with accounts, marketing, and management teams for tour execution.

Maintain consistent, professional, and prompt communication with all stakeholders.

Sustainability & Responsible Practices

Integrate sustainable and ethical practices in itinerary planning. Eco-friendly hotels.

Support the implementation of the company's Climate Action Plan and sustainability initiatives.

Promote eco-friendly travel options and local experiences in all travel programs.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare operational documents (vouchers, invoices, rooming lists, etc.).

Maintain supplier contracts, rates, and CRM databases.

Track tour profitability and ensure compliance with company standards.

Skills & Experience Required

Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.

35 years experience in inbound operations within a DMC or tour operator.

In-depth knowledge of Indian destinations, Indian culture, History, heritage and tourism circuits.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong coordination, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and travel management software.

Passion for wildlife, culture, and sustainable travel practices.

Working Environment

Location: Gurgaon Office

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 AM 6:00 PM
