Job Description: IN-Support Engineer 1 Position Title: IN-Support Engineer 1 Job Type: Full-time Experience: 12 years (Infra/Cloud/Database/Server Support) Role Overview We are looking for enthusiastic L1 Infra Engineers to join our IT/Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (preferably Azure), databases, and server administration (Windows/Linux). This role focuses on infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and L1 operational support across cloud, server, network, and database environments. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are key to success. Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Operations Monitor Azure resources, servers, databases, networks, and applications using dashboards & monitoring tools. Track and resolve service alerts, ensuring timely updates in ticketing systems. Incident Management Perform L1 triage and troubleshooting for incidents across servers, networks, and databases. Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams as required. Document incidents, root causes, and resolution steps for knowledge sharing. Server & Infrastructure Support Assist in administering Windows and Linux servers (user management, basic services, patching support). Support basic tasks in Active Directory, access management, and resource provisioning. Networking & Database Support Perform basic troubleshooting of network components (connectivity, DNS, firewall basics). Assist in monitoring and basic maintenance of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) including connectivity, space utilization, and backup checks. Collaboration & Governance Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infra, Cloud, DB, Network, Security). Support compliance, security, and governance requirements as per company policy. Required Skills & Experience Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (Servers, Storage, Networking, Active Directory). Exposure to database technologies (SQL/Oracle/Postgres) with basic admin/troubleshooting knowledge. Familiarity with Windows & Linux administration (services, users, patching, logs). Knowledge of incident management and ticketing tools (ITIL Process). Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a logical approach. Good communication and documentation skills. Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts. Preferred Qualifications Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900). Basic knowledge of automation (scripts, monitoring alerts handling). Familiarity with cloud security, backup & recovery concepts. Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Azure Monitor, Grafana). (ID001)
