Role & Responsibilities
- Inventory planning along with Category Managers for the season
- Inventory budgeting alignment for the season along with Senior management
- Manage seasonal and non-seasonal sale and liquidation to minimize inventory losses
- Increase in inventory turns
- Develop process and strategy to liquidate dead/ non seasonal inventory to free up cash via App and offline network
- Build offline network to liquidate inventory
- Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and prevent out of stock or overstock situations
- Implement wholistic model for inventory liquidation strategy
- Implementation of SOR model for aligned sellers
KPIs:
- Inventory turns
- Inventory value > 6 months
- Dead inventory value
- Inventory as % GMV
- Increase in conversion due to inventory purchase/movement
Qualifications & Experience: -
- MBA/bachelor's degree from Tier-1/2 College
- Prior Experience in management consulting / high growth startups / Early age startups/Operations/Inventory management
- Analytical and Highly Data Oriented with and on with analytics tools (SQL/Python would be an added advantage)
