Active Safety Systems (ABS, ESP)
New Braking Systems (IPB, iB, DPB etc)

Keys Tasks & Responsibilities of current position:

1) Vehicle Testing, Performance Evaluation, Application and Calibration of control algorithms in software for Active Safety system.

2)Working on a variety of technologies for different vehicle types (ICE, HEV & EV) and supporting the development of Driver Assistance Systems

3)Understand and analyze customer's performance & controller requirements.

4)Conduct Vehicle tests in summer and winter sessions and calibrate system performance per Bosch, Customer's and legal requirements.

5)Trouble-shooting in vehicle for hardware, software & DAQ during development.

6)Interface with customer to provide technical support

7)Follow company development and quality processes

8)Support other group/department in project acquisition and technical activities

Preferred Skill Sets :

1) Experience/Know how in conducting vehicle tests. ( Eg. Brake tests, Lane changes on different test surfaces)

2)Understanding of ABS/ESP, Homologation testing as per regulations.

3)Good know how of Vehicle dynamics.

4)Good driving skills & ability to judge vehicle behavior & system impact on vehicle behavior.

5)Good analytical and logical reasoning.

6)Strong social skills - active listening, relationship management, effective communication, engagement with team members & client.

7)Understanding of programming language C, Matlab, Simulink.

8)Hands-on with DAQ (Data acquisition systems). Vbox, Vector tools, data loggers, sensors & SW programming tools.

9)General awareness of automotive industry -current trends/affairs.

10)Testing experience on ABS and ESP system preferred.

11)Experience in hydraulic brake system with understanding of brake system calculation and foundation brake sizing preferred


Qualifications

Qualifications:

1) Engineering graduate/Post Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in Automotive Domain.

2)Experience in hydraulic brake system with understanding of brake system calculation and foundation brake sizing preferred

3)Experience in tyre, suspension tuning with hands on dynamic vehicle testing experience.

4)General awareness of automotive industry current trends/affairs.
