As a PUQ, he will be responsible for ensuring that all materials and components sourced from suppliers meet our quality standards.
Role will involve developing and implementing quality assurance processes, resolving quality issues, and collaborating closely with suppliers to enhance their performance, will also maintain detailed documentation, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Assuring supplier quality in products during series
Risk evaluation at part level
Responsible for creating inspection plan and requalification of parts.
Collection and documentation of cost claim due to supplier's failure.
Cost claims for non-conformity parts and assurance of receipt of payment.
Involved in supplier complaints management activities, 8D review and evaluation.
Conduct pre-clarification of preliminary acceptance of concessions.
Conduct PPAP/ISIR activities for new products/ parts.
BE/BTech (Mechanical Engineering / Industrial engineering, Equivalent.) with 2-3 Years of experience in purchasing supplier quality, manufacturing, engineering, or quality management.
Technical:
Professional experience in incoming quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management desired.
Strong technical knowledge on drawing interpretation, interpreting and understanding of technical norms.
Knowledge on In-Hub motor, Manufacturing process of Mechanical parts and cost calculations desired
Good MS Office, SAP and knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage.
