Import Export Executive

Description

We are seeking an experienced Import Export Executive to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade and logistics, with a proven track record of managing import and export operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex regulations and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the import and export operations of the company.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international trade regulations and customs laws.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for import and export processes, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and customers in international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and customs officials.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in import/export operations or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
