Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Implementation Specialist will support the onboarding and implementation of global payroll clients across multiple countries by assisting with data collection, payroll setup activities, portal configuration, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and Payroll Service Providers (PSPs). The role ensures accurate data preparation and supports a smooth transition of clients into operational payroll delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementation Support

  • Support global payroll implementation projects across multiple countries.
  • Assist in the collection, review, and validation of payroll data from clients.
  • Maintain implementation trackers, timelines, and project documentation

Data Management

  • Prepare and review payroll data templates for client onboarding.
  • Assist with data migration and payroll system setup activities.
  • Perform initial data validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Global Payroll Portal Setup

  • Support configuration and setup of the Global Payroll Portal for new clients.
  • Assist with client demonstrations of the portal functionality where required.
  • Configure client access, country setup, and payroll workflow configuration.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure portal readiness before go-live.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams, payroll operations, and Payroll Service Providers (PSPs).
  • Support implementation calls and follow-up actions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all required payroll inputs and documentation are received on time.

Testing & Go-Live Support

  • Assist with parallel payroll testing and validation activities.
  • Support the go-live process and transition to BAU payroll teams.
  • Document and track issues identified during testing or early payroll cycles.

Documentation & Process Support

  • Maintain implementation checklists, trackers, and implementation documentation.
  • Prepare handover documentation for operational payroll teams.
  • Support improvements to implementation templates, processes, and documentation standards.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 36 years of experience in payroll and implementation.
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and payroll data structures.
  • Exposure to multi-country payroll environments is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to data accuracy and documentation.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with global payroll platforms or payroll portals.
  • Exposure to multi-country payroll implementations.
  • Experience coordinating with Payroll Service Providers (PSPs).
