About The Role
At
Professional Services , our
Implementation Centre of Excellence (ICoE) ensures that client implementations run seamlessly from start to finish. We manage every stage, from initial setup and data migration to integration, training, and go-livewhile providing ongoing support to deliver an exceptional client experience.
This role focuses on
configuring our software using provided toolsets rather than pure code development. Implementation Specialist uses their GoldenSource and functional knowledge to understand client requirements, advice on solution design in line with Product and industry best practices and use their technical knowledge to configure and test the solution for our clients after the initial purchase has already taken place.
However, a solid understanding of core development principles is highly beneficial for certain implementation activities. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills and a keen interest in understanding the data that drives business processes, as well as ensuring its quality.
As An Implementation Specialist , You Will
- Collaborate with clients post-purchase to install, configure, and customize systems.
- Define objectives, tailor features to client needs, and deliver training sessions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clients adopt our product seamlessly while enjoying a consistently positive and value-driven experience.
You willl typically report to a
Project Manager or
Implementation Lead and work within a small team of specialists. While most work is office-based, occasional travel may be required to meet clients on a case-by-case basis.
Domain Experience
GoldenSource is looking to augment its Professional Services team with someone having specific industry experience within the IT arena having previously worked with on projects in Data management space for asset types like Equities, Bonds, FX, Futures, Forwards, Options, Swaps, Volatilities, Credit Curves, and Commodities with client facing exposure.
Domain experience in Asset management, Custody, Hedge fund, Pension Fund, Risk would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in activities spanning the entire lifecycle
project implementation
- Analyze and develop new requirements for customers. Engage with clients to understand their needs, reproduce their use-cases, and deliver solutions that enhance their overall experience
- Upgrade existing functionalities and drive smooth, timely implementations.
- Develops, builds and unit tests components from detailed low-level designs.
- Contribute to all phases of the development cycle (Development, Deployment, Testing, Release Management).
- Document all deliverables accurately.
- Adhere to established standards and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality in all deliverables.
Required Skill Sets
- Good understanding of database concepts
- Ability to code using SQL/PLSQL
- Atleast one scripting language: Shell / python /Java
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) ability to communicate/work with people at all levels/backgrounds.
- Understanding of J2EE concepts and experience of any application server
Preferred Skill Sets
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to reference data vendors.
- Queuing technologies including Kafka, MQ, Solace
- Familiarity with Git/JIRA/Jenkins/Bamboo etc. and Devops processes
- Capital market know how and any certification of NCFM/NISM or trade life cycle.
