IMOS Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for design development and conversion processes.
• Prepare accurate design and conversion drawings in line with approved standards and client requirements.
• Maintain records of repeated design errors, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Planning, and Installation teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and technically accurate.
• Customize modular furniture systems based on client specifications, site measurements, and project requirements.
• Before preparing drawings, ensure the following aspects are clearly understood and confirmed:
• i. Product specifications as per client requirement
• ii. Approved color shades for fabric, wood, and finishes
• iii. Any deviation from standard modules to be treated as customization
• Prepare and upload all drawings into the ERP system as per SOP.
• Review and manage all drawing revisions based on inputs from clients, dealers, or internal stakeholders, in coordination with the Project Coordinator.
• Ensure proper documentation and version control of all drawing revisions.
• Share finalized conversion drawings with the Production and Planning teams within defined timelines as per SOP.
• Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings using IMOS CAD software.
• Prepare cutting lists, drilling plans, and hardware configurations for CNC machine operations.
• Maintain and update design libraries, ensuring adherence to standard templates, approved materials, and construction techniques.
• Export design data for CNC programming, edge banding, and other machining operations.
• Revise and update existing designs based on feedback, site changes, or project modifications.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BoM), nesting plans, and shop drawings.
