Description

The Immigration Consultant manages end-to-end H-1B case execution for standard filings, including Extensions, Amendments, and Cap cases. This is a production-focused role responsible for drafting, documentation review, regulatory compliance, and timely filing.

The role applies established SOPs and regulatory guidance to execute cases accurately and within SLA. Complex edge cases and high-risk scenarios are escalated to Leadership team or external counsel as required.

The role ensures case accuracy, milestone tracking, and prevention of work authorization gaps within assigned portfolio.

Key job responsibilities
. Manage end-to-end H-1B case processing including Cap, Extensions, Amendments, Transfers, and RFE responses.

. Ensure all filings comply with Department of Labor and USCIS regulations.

. Assess eligibility, collect required documentation, and prepare complete petition packages.

. Draft USCIS forms, support letters, and compile evidence in alignment with internal standards.

. Coordinate LCA initiation, validation, and posting requirements.

. Track case milestones and ensure timely filing before work authorization deadlines.

. Maintain accurate, audit-ready case records within case management systems.

. Provide clear case status updates to employees and HR partners.

. Escalate complex eligibility or regulatory risks to senior case managers.

. Meet defined targets for case prep time, quality accuracy, and SLA adherence.

. Support compliance reviews and respond to internal audit requests.

. Identify recurring documentation gaps and recommend process corrections.

About the team
The Immigration Team manages visa processes to ensure employees are authorized to work in the foreign countries without disruption. The team owns end-to-end case management including eligibility assessment, petition drafting, filing, escalation resolution, and regulatory compliance. It mitigates work authorization risk, drives high approval rates, monitors policy changes, and partners with HR, business leaders, and internal and external counsel to deliver accurate, timely, and audit-ready immigration services that protect both employees and the business.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of human resources experience
- Experience with HR processes and systems
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
