Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for distributors, systems integrators, dealers, and retail partners.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
  • Build strong channel relationships and improve partner productivity and engagement.
  • Expand market presence and product penetration in assigned states.
  • Identify new business opportunities in retail, B2B, and institutional segments.
  • Monitor field performance, conduct regular market visits, and support sales team with on-ground execution.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Track KPIs such as revenue, growth rate, dealer performance, and market share.

Desired Functional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven track record in inverter, energy meters, or similar product categories.
  • Strong network of distributors and dealers in the target region.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a strategic mindset and operational efficiency.

Competencies:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the Electronics and Electrical industry.
  • Distribution and Retail Sales and Dealer network expansion
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE/EEE.
  • 9+ years of total experience in sales, marketing, distribution, and retail network management.
