Role Overview:

We are seeking an innovative Image Processing Engineer to join our R&D team. You will be at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art algorithms to analyze and interpret high-resolution satellite imagery. This is a hands-on role focused on transforming raw satellite data into actionable geospatial intelligence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end image processing pipelines for satellite data preprocessing.
  • Advanced Applications: Implement robust algorithms for Image Enhancement, Restoration, Feature Extraction, Image Matching, and Edge Detection.
  • Analytical Operations: Build tools for Change Detection, Morphological Operations, Segmentation, and Classification specifically tuned for remote sensing.
  • R&D Innovation: Apply the latest research in Computer Vision (CV) and Deep Learning to improve existing algorithm performance and accuracy.
  • Optimization: Continuously refine software tools for scalability and efficiency in processing massive geospatial datasets.
  • Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation for algorithm logic, architectural designs, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications:

We are looking for a specialist who balances mathematical rigor with software engineering excellence.

  • Professional Experience: 2+ years in the field of Image Processing, with at least one major project involving Restoration, Image Matching, Enhancement, or Feature Extraction.
  • Algorithm Engineering: Hands-on experience designing and developing complex image processing algorithms from scratch.
  • Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in Python.
  • Deep mastery of NumPy and OpenCV.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. You must have completed formal academic coursework in Image Processing.
  • Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, expert debugging abilities, and excellent teamwork/communication skills.
  • The Plus Factor: A background in Remote Sensing (SAR/Multispectral) and experience with AI/ML applications is highly desirable.
