Illustrator

Role Overview:

An Illustrator will play a pivotal role in bringing creative concepts to life through exceptional illustration and design expertise. The role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to translate ideas into captivating visuals. As a senior member of the creative team, the Senior Illustrator will also mentor junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality illustrations that align with the brand's vision and goals. This position is ideal for someone passionate about creating unique, trend-forward visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

● Combining hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations

● Refining designs with illustration software using various colors, graphics and effects to better convey each concept

● Obtain design approval through the submission of rough arrangements/layouts/ sketches of ideas from your senior management.

● Executing design concepts based on illustration on Apparels & accessories (T-shirt, dresses, shirts, shoes etc.) for licensed merches like Marvel, DC, Harry potter, Friends etc. Non-licensed merches and Cliental projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

● Proficient with different design softwares like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

● A strong portfolio of illustration in a similar industry.

● Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software

● Drawing skills with an attention to detail.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams and colleagues as necessary.

● A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

● Team player with ability to prioritize & handle multiple projects to meet Deadlines.

Education & Experience:

● 0-2 years experience designing for an apparel brand or similar.

● Bachelor of Fine Art/ Design or related field.
