For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote iGRAFX Data Engineer with +8 years of IT experience.
We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Create and evolve Process Explorer-style views using iGrafx's Path Stepper (to visualize happy paths/exceptions), QuickMap (to rapidly structure flows), and Dashboards (to publish insights for SMEs and leadership);
- Document processes and analysis logic: capture object summary, purpose, instructions, RACI, supporting technologies, and custom properties to make models navigable and actionable for business users;
- Support small enhancements to models, repositories, and dashboards (new attributes, KPIs in dashboards, properties, or path filters), working with WBG BPM/ProcessCentral stakeholders;
- Data preparation for analysis: collaborate on ETL/ELT pipelines/data extracts (e.g., SAP) that feed process analysis; ensure mapping to ProcessCentral objects and attributes is consistent and governed. (Aligns with ongoing WBPM guidance; see BPM Handbook.);
- Optimize model performance & usability: standardize templates, apply versioning best practices, and configure dashboards/gadgets for fast navigation and clear;
- Work with ITS and iGrafx product support on platform tests, lab trials, and incident handling; use the Process Central Lab to prototype changes without affecting production;
Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +8 years of IT experience;
- Hands-on experience with iGrafx Process Central (repository structure, permissions, versioning, approvals, and dashboard gadget settings);
- like diagramming in iGrafx, including lanes/roles, events/gateways, subprocesses, and hierarchical navigation (QuickMap for rapid modeling where appropriate);
- Path analysis expertise using Path Stepper to identify happy path, exception paths, and variance, and to translate findings into clearly documented recommendations;
- Repository governance & documentation: capture object summaries, purposes, instructions, RACI relationships, supporting systems, and custom properties so model content remains self-describing and audit-ready;
- Dashboard design & publishing: configure Dashboard gadgets to surface KPIs, context, and navigation; maintain approved versions and change histories;
- Strong hands-on experience with relational databases, ETL/ELT, and SAP ERP data extraction/mappingso process analysis reflects real execution and can be traced to source systems;
- Ability to define analysis attributes/KPIs in iGrafx dashboards (e.g., cycle time milestones, handoffs, exception counts) and maintain semantic consistency across repositories;

- Template and versioning best practices: apply WBG standards for templates, approvals, and info-center updates; promote re-use across units;
- Performance & usability optimization: organize models to reduce navigation friction; use Path Stepper filters and gadget settings to keep dashboards responsive;
- Authoring clear instructions/how-tos attached to objects, including embedded videos or images for onboarding and repeatable model updates;
- Fluent in English;
