Introduction
- Develop and execute functional and performance automation scripts using open source tools
- Perform usability, functional, and regression testing
- Executes and updates test cases and scenarios
- Evaluate and test software bug fixes, extensions, and features
- Work closely with Product Management, Development, and Architecture to understand and guide product features and testing
- Contributes to the development of new theories and methods for QA
- Leads, attends, and participates in various Engineering meetings for the team
- Manages testing environment and test data using various tools
Your Role And Responsibilities
- This position will allow you to innovate new performance and functional tests for the SevOne NPM products, both on the frontend and backend.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Playwright (JS/TS) and Selenium (Python) open-source frameworks
- Ability to work with both web-based front-end and Linux/SQL back-end
- PHP / JavaScript/Typescript / Bash / Python / JSON / YAML experience
- Jmeter / Gatling / Postman experience
- Linux admin level skills
- Ability to create/understand MySQL queries
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Demonstrate ability to quickly assess the impact of new features on the current architecture.
- Strong customer focus to ensure meeting customer requirements
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Basic Understanding of load balancers, routers, call manager, switches, and knowledge of networking protocols such as routing, DNS, and SNMP is a plus
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
8 to 12 years of strong QA work experience with :
- Hands-on with testing on containerised platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure and understanding of AWS, Azure& GCP
- Knowledge about performance testing will be an added advantage.
