Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate IBDP Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The ideal candidate will inspire critical thinking, real-life application, and mathematical reasoning in students, while supporting their overall growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IBDP Mathematics (AI or AA, SL/HL) following the IB curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote conceptual understanding
- Prepare students for all IB assessments, including Internal Assessments (IAs) and exams
- Use diverse teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain academic records
- Guide students in research and presentation of mathematical investigations
- Participate in collaborative planning, curriculum review, and IB moderation
- Uphold IB philosophy, learner profile attributes, and academic integrity
- Engage in school activities, co-curricular events, and professional development
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Valid teaching certification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in an IB World School
- IB Category 1 or 2 training in Mathematics (preferred)
