If you're an experienced IB Geography teacher with classroom teaching experience, possess strong soft skills, and have a passion for education, you might be the perfect fit as a tutor for the extensive network at Crimson Education.
These roles are part-time and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world.
The remuneration is set at 45 USD per hour.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Working closely with a variety of students based across the world - including the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe (within a time zone appropriate for you)
- Conducting tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
- Using IBDP Geography curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to our students
- Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
- Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
What We Are Looking For
- You are a qualified teacher and have 2+ years of experience classroom teaching the IB Geography curriculum (essential)
- You have examining and/or workshop-leading experience in your subject
- You have at least 4 hours of availability to tutor each week (more preferred)
- You're passionate about education and enjoy teaching - ideally, you've even got some experience tutoring students already!
- You're detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
