Job Title: IB PYP Mathematics Teacher

Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic IB PYP Mathematics Teacher to join the IB School in Jaipur. The successful candidate will inspire young learners to develop conceptual understanding, mathematical thinking, and problem-solving skills through inquiry-based and transdisciplinary learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging mathematics learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework and school curriculum.
- Foster conceptual understanding through inquiry-based, student-centered, and differentiated instruction.
- Develop students numeracy, reasoning, problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Create meaningful connections between mathematics and real-world contexts.
- Integrate mathematics into transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry where appropriate.
- Develop unit plans, learning engagements, and assessments aligned with PYP standards and practices.
- Contribute to curriculum review and continuous programme improvement.
- Support the integration of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and the IB Learner Profile within mathematics instruction.
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Work collaboratively with PYP teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary Education.
- Strong understanding of PYP Mathematics pedagogy and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
