Job Title: IB PYP Homeroom Teacher

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and student-centered IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our dynamic learning community in Jaipur. The successful candidate will foster inquiry-based learning, support the holistic development of students, and create an engaging classroom environment aligned with the philosophy and standards of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Facilitate inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centered learning.
- Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Encourage students to demonstrate the IB Learner Profile attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Utilize formative and summative assessment practices consistent with IB philosophy.
- Prepare student progress reports and maintain portfolios/documentation of learning.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and programme development.
Qualifications And Experience (Essential)
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in relevant subject area.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary Education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience teaching within the IB PYP framework.
(Preferred)
- IB PYP training/workshop certification.
- Experience in an international or progressive school environment.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital learning platforms.
