Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reliability and integrity support for instrumentation and electrical assets within complex industrial facilities
  • Lead and steward reliability programs to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices
  • Deliver technical support to identify reliability threats and address underperforming instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Perform analytical assessments to support reliability and integrity initiatives across assets
  • Develop and optimize maintenance strategies, procedures, and processes; manage technical analysis of threats and procurement queries; conduct Replace-in-Kind (RIK) assessments; and perform valve health monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technical, Maintenance, Turnaround, Projects) to achieve reliability goals and improve asset performance
  • Support reliability studies, capital projects, and other related initiatives
  • Implement strategies to enhance mechanical availability of instrumentation and electrical assets
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and organizational guidelines
  • Develop turnaround scope for instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes to improve system performance, reliability, and safety
  • Apply reliability tools and work processes to identify gaps, prioritize opportunities, and recommend improvements for asset performance
  • Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures using root cause analysis
  • Perform reliability analytics using statistical tools to determine failure probabilities, prioritize maintenance, justify spare parts stocking, and evaluate project alternatives

Work Experience

B. Tech with 5-10 years of experience

The I&E Reliability Engineer will ensure asset reliability and integrity through proactive engineering practices, including maintenance strategy development and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering, proven experience in reliability within refining or LNG environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to drive operational excellence.
