Role: HVAC Maintenance & Installation Engineer
Experience: 2+Years
Role Overview:
The HVAC Maintenance & Installation Engineer will be responsible for execution, installation and maintenance of HVAC systems at site. The role also requires strong understanding of HVAC drawings to ensure proper installation as per design specifications and coordination with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute installation of HVAC systems including ducting, insulation, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems such as AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and ventilation units.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings (layout, ducting, piping, schematics) for accurate site execution.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, standards, and project specifications.
• Handle duct fabrication, erection, alignment, and air distribution systems.
• Conduct testing & commissioning support including airflow balancing and system performance checks
• Identify faults and perform corrective/preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with design, QA/QC, and project teams for smooth execution.
• Maintain site records, reports, and daily progress updates.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance practices.
• Good knowledge of HVAC drawings (AutoCAD/Revit) – must be able to read and execute drawings at site.
• Hands-on experience with AHUs, FCUs, chillers, ducting, piping, and ventilation systems.
• Understanding of airflow, pressurization, and system balancing.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
