Job Description

Company name - Vitruv Motors Private Limited

Location - Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Role - Full time, on site

Experience - 4-6 yrs experience (Preferably with Tier 1 supplier of Battery pack / Motor / Controllers)

Salary - 40k per month for 6 months. 3-4x increase post 1st Proto development

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a HV Systems Engineer based in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, . The HV Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing high-voltage systems, troubleshooting technical issues, administering system integrations, and providing technical support to ensure seamless operations. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and safety features for Vitruv Motors innovative EV light truck.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design & development of Electric Powertrain (HV) components such as Traction Batteries, Motors, contactors, relays, junction boxes, and HV harnesses
  • Define HV architecture and interface requirements between powertrain, BMS, thermal systems, and vehicle control units
  • HV Systems Integration at System & Vehicle Level
  • Prepare system-level DFMEA, DVP&R and validation test plans for HV components, execute DVP and homologation compliance tests
  • Perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
  • Ensure Compliance with applicable Standards & Regulations
  • Software calibration and control strategy validation for HV system operation
  • Working experience of functional safety regulation
  • Hands on experience on Hybrid/Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, verification and validation.
  • Coordination with other departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities & and performance evaluation

Other Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of Battery & Motor Design with ISO 26262 Functional Safety (ASIL C/D systems)
  • Good understanding of vehicle communication networks and diagnostic standards (UDS, ISO 14229)
  • Lead design & development activity with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and system-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
