Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cable Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in the design, installation, and engineering of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage power cables. The role involves end-to-end cable engineering activities, including design calculations, route surveys, installation methodologies, and coordination of jointing and termination works for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Your role

• Cable design hands on experience.
• Cable sizing and ampacity calculations.
• Voltage levels 132kV, 275kV, 400kV and HVDC 500Kv.
• Type of insulation.
• Installation and Laying.
• Cable laying methods.
• Cable trench and duct bank.
• Cable pulling calculations.
• Route survey and desktop survey .
• Jointing and terminations.
• If experience in Sub-marine cables ( preferrable ).
• Software CYMCAP etc.
• Experience 5 to 10 years.
