We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist with deep expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, and end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, less-structured setup.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
- Manage accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus Act, Gratuity, and TDS.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and coordinate with auditors.
HR Operations
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle — onboarding, documentation, HRMS portal updates, and exit formalities.
- Oversee leave, attendance, and benefits administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and HR queries.
Policy, Process & HR Technology
- Draft, revise, and implement HR policies in line with labor law requirements.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews.
- Work with HR tech platforms to maintain accurate employee data and generate reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience using HRMS/payroll software.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Experience working in small teams or entrepreneurial setups.
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant, approachable personality.
