THE ROLE:

As an HR Operations Specialist at Wisemonk, you are not supporting the product — you are delivering it. You will manage the full employment lifecycle for employees hired through our EOR platform on behalf of global clients. This is a high-ownership, detail-oriented role covering payroll administration, benefits, employment documentation, and compliance.

You will be a trusted point of contact for both clients and placed employees — handling everything from offer letters and onboarding to payroll queries and offboarding settlements. If you have a strong foundation in HR operations and want to work at scale across a diverse mix of global companies and employees, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage the end-to-end employment lifecycle for placed employees — from contract issuance and onboarding through to offboarding and final settlements
  • Coordinate payroll inputs — collect, verify, and submit accurate payroll data on time every cycle
  • Administer employee benefits — handle enrolment, queries, renewals, and coordination with third-party benefit providers
  • Maintain employment records and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with Indian labour law
  • Support statutory compliance — PF, ESI, PT, gratuity, and any client-specific requirements
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact for placed employees on HR-related queries — payslips, leave, employment letters, benefits
  • Work with the Compliance team to proactively flag and resolve employment or regulatory issues
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and contribute to automation and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain data integrity in the HRIS — ensure records are accurate and up to date at all times

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, payroll administration, or employment management
  • Solid understanding of Indian employment law, statutory benefits, and labour compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Keka, Darwinbox, or similar)
  • High attention to detail — you understand that accuracy in payroll and compliance has real consequences for real people
  • Able to manage multiple employee cases simultaneously across different clients and employment contexts
  • Strong interpersonal skills — placed employees often bring sensitive or time-critical queries, and you handle them with care
  • EOR, PEO, or staffing/HR services industry experience is a strong advantage
