Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned HR Operations Lead to oversee and manage core HR processes for our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll management, labor law compliance, employee life cycle operations, HRMS administration, and HR analytics. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong process ownership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll & Compliance:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements including PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory filings.
- Employee Life Cycle Management:
- Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with compliance standards.
- HRMS Administration:
- Administer and maintain HRMS systems, ensuring data integrity and process automation.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Provide insights on workforce trends, attrition, and compliance metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on HR operations matters.
- Support audits and internal reviews related to HR processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and payroll practices.
- Experience with HRMS platforms and data reporting tools.
- Exposure to engineering or oil & gas services industry preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
