We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to streamline HR processes, support workforce planning, and build a strong people culture across our project sites and corporate office.

Job Summary

The HR Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with labor laws, manage recruitment and employee lifecycle processes, and support workforce requirements for construction projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Compliance
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, documentation, payroll coordination, and exit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HRIS systems.
  • Handle audits, statutory filings (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.), and vendor coordination.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
  • Lead recruitment for site staff, engineers, supervisors, and corporate roles.
  • Coordinate manpower planning based on project requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely hiring and onboarding.
  • Develop recruitment pipelines for blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
Employee Engagement & Performance
  • Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Manage performance appraisal cycles and training programs.
  • Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Promote HR best practices across project sites.
Payroll & Vendor Coordination
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accurate salary processing.
  • Manage HR vendors, staffing agencies, and training partners.
  • Monitor HR budgets and optimize operational costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of HR operations experience (construction industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience handling blue-collar workforce and site HR operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Experience working in construction, infrastructure, or real estate companies.
  • Ability to manage multi-location workforce and site operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
