 Zivaya is a chain of luxury wellness outlets at major chains of hotels, palaces, airports and lounges across India. We offer premium therapies, beauty, spa & hair treatments. 

 

Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for leading the entire Human Resources and Administration function of the organization and serving as a strategic partner to the Directors in building a high-performing, compliant, and people-centric workplace. The role requires ownership of talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, payroll administration, statutory compliance, labour law adherence, HR operations, employee engagement, and organizational culture.

The incumbent will be expected to establish robust HR systems and processes, ensure timely recruitment of quality talent, maintain employee discipline and workplace standards, safeguard confidential employee information, and drive initiatives that contribute to employee retention, productivity, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with the Directors and departmental heads to understand current and future manpower requirements across all business locations.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to ensure timely fulfillment of approved manpower requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, salary negotiations, offer management, and onboarding.

  • Source candidates through multiple channels including:
  • Job Portals
  • LinkedIn and professional networks
  • Campus recruitment drives
  • Job fairs and career expos
  • Hospitality institutes and universities
  • Skill development centres and vocational training institutes
  • Employee referral programs
  • Recruitment agencies and consultants

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with hospitality institutes, colleges, universities, and training partners to create a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Ensure recruitment metrics, turnaround times, and hiring quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice.

2. Employee Lifecycle Management

Onboarding & Induction

  • Manage all joining formalities including documentation, verification, offer letters and employee record creation.
  • Conduct comprehensive induction programs to familiarize employees with company policies, culture, values, and operational standards.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Design and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Monitor attrition trends and recommend corrective actions to improve employee retention.
  • Foster a positive work environment built on trust, accountability, professionalism, and mutual respect.

Separation Management

  • Manage resignation, termination, retirement, and exit processes in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

 

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily HR operations and administrative activities across all business locations.
  • Monitor attendance, leave management, shift records, overtime, absenteeism, and employee movement.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, personnel files, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Coordinate the issuance and management of official email IDs, employee access credentials, and company assets.
  • Ensure adequate availability and maintenance of:
  • Office stationery
  • Workstations and systems
  • Communication tools
  • Employee facilities and operational resources
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures that improve operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate HR reports, documentation, and management information systems.

 

4. Workplace Culture, Discipline & Employee Relations

  • Promote and uphold the organization's values, professional standards, and workplace culture.
  • Ensure discipline, decorum, ethical conduct, and adherence to company policies at all levels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate employee complaints and recommend fair and practical resolutions.
  • Support managers in handling disciplinary matters and employee performance issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and employee morale.

5. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process with complete accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ensure timely processing of salaries, incentives, reimbursements, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
  • Resolve employee queries related to salary, benefits, and payroll discrepancies.

 

6. Labour Law Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory obligations.
  • Monitor legal developments and proactively update HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, returns, and documentation.
  • Coordinate labour inspections, audits, legal notices, and interactions with government authorities.
  • Liaise with legal advisors, consultants, and compliance agencies whenever required.

7. Strategic Partnership with Directors

  • Work closely with the Directors on workforce planning, business expansion, organizational development, and manpower budgeting.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on recruitment, attrition, payroll costs, employee productivity, and compliance status.
  • Support leadership in developing people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Recommend and implement HR policies, systems, and best practices that contribute to organizational growth.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making relating to people, culture, and organizational effectiveness.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, wellness, aviation, retail, healthcare, or service industries will be preferred.
