Salary - 25k to 35k per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – HR to manage statutory compliances, employee lifecycle processes, and support HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, labor laws, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory Compliance:

  • Handle end-to-end compliance related to PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC (Employee State Insurance).
  • Ensure timely filing of returns and maintenance of records.
  • Liaise with government authorities for compliance-related matters.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor laws and statutory regulations.

2. Payroll & HR Operations:

  • Coordinate with payroll team for accurate salary processing.
  • Validate statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS).
  • Maintain employee records, documentation, and HRMIS.

3. Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
  • Conduct induction and orientation programs.
  • Handle full & final settlements.

4. Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Maintain compliance trackers and MIS reports.

5. Employee Engagement & Communication:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication across departments.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, labor laws, and statutory compliance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HR software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
  • 4–7 years of experience in HR operations and compliance

Preferred:

  • Experience in handling audits and statutory inspections
  • Exposure to HRMS/payroll systems
