Human Resource Manager

Industry: Designer Wear / Fashion & Apparel

Location: Gurgaon & Noida

Experience: 1020 years (Fashion / Retail / Luxury preferred)

CTC: Upto 30 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and manage all HR functions for our growing designer wear brand. The role requires a strong understanding of fashion retail operations, atelier/workshop environments, and creative teams, along with compliance under labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Recruit for roles such as designers, merchandisers, tailors, pattern masters, production staff, retail staff, and corporate teams

Build strong hiring pipelines for seasonal and permanent requirements

Coordinate with founders, design heads, and production leads for manpower planning

Employee Relations & HR Operations

Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, appraisal, exits

Maintain HR records, attendance, leave, payroll coordination

Address employee grievances and maintain a positive workplace culture

Performance Management

Design and implement performance appraisal systems suitable for creative and operational roles

Support leadership in goal setting, reviews, and development plans

Compliance & Policies

Ensure compliance with labor laws (Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.)

Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, code of conduct, and POSH compliance

Handle audits and statutory documentation

Training & Development

Identify skill gaps and organize training for retail staff, artisans, and corporate teams

Support leadership development and succession planning

Culture & Employer Branding

Foster a culture aligned with luxury, craftsmanship, and brand values

Support employee engagement initiatives

Represent the brand professionally in HR and recruitment forums

Required Skills & Qualifications

-MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent

-510 years of HR experience (fashion, retail, luxury, textiles preferred)

-Strong knowledge of labor laws

-Experience handling Blue & W-collar workforce

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work closely with creative and production teams
