Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Human Resources function for the Gurugram office. This is a leadership role requiring strong execution capability, policy discipline, people management maturity & alignment with organisational goals.
The role will act as a bridge between corporate HR strategy & ground-level execution, ensuring that people practices support business growth, accountability & long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Own & manage all HR operations for the Gurugram office.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements & company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR MIS & documentation.
- Implement & enforce HR policies, SOPs & governance frameworks.
- Coordinate audits, statutory filings & compliance reviews.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment across functions including technical, operations & corporate roles.
- Work closely with business leaders to plan manpower requirements.
- Ensure structured, quality-driven hiring aligned with cultural & performance expectations.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, offer-to-join ratio & hiring quality.
- Manage recruitment vendors & internal hiring teams where applicable.
Performance Management & Employee Lifecycle
- Drive performance management systems aligned with accountability & outcomes.
- Support managers in goal setting, performance reviews & feedback mechanisms.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, engagement, retention & exits.
- Ensure fair, structured, & compliant handling of employee exits & separations.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary issues & conflict resolution professionally.
- Promote a culture of discipline, ownership, transparency & professionalism.
- Balance employee well-being with business needs & organisational discipline.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership Alignment
- Work closely with the HR Head (Corporate Office) to implement HR strategy.
- Partner with business leaders to align people initiatives with organisational goals.
- Provide regular HR reports, insights & recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure consistent HR practices between corporate & branch operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, & labour laws.
- H&s-on experience in recruitment, performance management & employee relations.
- Ability to design & implement HR processes & SOPs.
- Experience with HR systems, MIS & reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / Master's degree in HR or related field.
- 812 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience managing HR operations independently for a location or business unit.
- Exposure to tech, services, or growth-stage organisations preferred.
- Prior experience reporting into a corporate HR structure is an advantage.
